Fuck You Feminism/Shooting With Bob

On Friday I shot with Bob Coulter, of Crazy Babe fame. I paid my way to New York City to do so- and it was definitely worth it. I got some great pictures, and had a great time. He's the most famous photographer that I've shot with to date- as well as an awesome guy.

Although he's shot much more explicit stuff than I'm comfortable with, we didn't shoot anything beyond my boundaries- no spread shots(although if some pinks shows, I'm not going to freak out), and no sticking things inside me.

So, I guess this is another entry without any outright feminism in it. I guess the message is that feminism is very, very open to interpretation- I don't see a conflict with nudity/sensuality and being a feminist. Then again, isn't that the point of this whole blog?

Isn't feminism about saying "fuck you" to the status quo? Isn't it about not doing what you're told, not being what others think you're supposed to be? Well, that's what it is for me.

Funny, I was just talking about this with my sister, and you've helped make my point that the models I've worked with have been among the most liberated, independent, and feminist women I've ever met. I had been thinking about doing a blog entry about it, but your blog today convinced me. Thanks for the nudge!

P.S. Congratulations on working with Bob Coulter. Looking forward to seeing more of the shots... will you make them available, or will we need to subscribe to his site?
